SINGAPORE AIRSHOW, Singapore, 16.-21.02.2016 -

Every two years, high-level government and military delegations, as well as senior corporate executives around the world attend the Singapore Airshow to forge partnerships and seal deals in this region. As Asia's largest Airshow, this is the place to be for leading aerospace companies and budding players eager to make their mark in the international aerospace and defence market!

The event also features two high-level conferences namely the Singapore Airshow Aviation Leadership Summit and the Asia Pacific Security Conference, which attract an unprecedented network of international senior commercial, government & defence delegations.

The other strategic conference which will be held during the week of the show is the A*STAR Aerospace Technology Leadership Forum.

The event is scheduled to be held from 16 to 21 February 2016 and will once again bring together the global aerospace community and key commercial, government and military delegations at Asia's largest aerospace and defence event.

Singapore Airshow 2014 wrapped up the trade segment of the six-day event with deals announced worth US$32 billion (+3% versus 2012), and both participating companies (1,018 or +13% versus 2012) and trade attendees (45,152 or +1% versus 2012) exceeded the 2012 totals!

This reinforces Singapore Airshow's standing as the must-attend and must-exhibit show on the worldwide Airshow circuit for both military and commercial aviation.

2014 also saw the largest number of trade visitors, all highly-qualified, attending the event.

To sum up: Singapore Airshow is one of the few multi-faceted events in the region that combines both military and commercial aviation in one strategic location. The event has consistently been very successful in connecting exhibitors with high-level military delegations, leading industry players from national airlines and airport operators, as well as top government officials from the Asia Pacific region and beyond.

Recognised for its neutrality and strong infrastructure, Singapore is the ideal location to forge partnerships and seal deals in the region. At the same time, there is strong support from the government to build the aerospace industry and develop Singapore as an aviation hub. All these factors have underpinned the success of the Singapore Airshow.
